The Sierra Leone High Commission in London (SLHC-UK) under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, convened a strategic dialogue today with the executive team of the Oxford Africa Conference (https:\/\/x.com\/oxfordafrica?s=21&t=zMp_PuXG9i_RYocWcjuy4A). The meeting aimed to explore collaborative avenues that have the potential to yield appropriate benefits for both the OAC and for Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oxford Africa Conference, organized annually by the Oxford University Africa Society (AfriSoc), has established itself as a key platform for discussing Africa\u2019s future. The 2025 conference is scheduled for May 24-25 at the Blavatnik School of Government, focusing on the theme \u201cChanging Narratives: Vision, Action, and Transformation of Africa.\u201d  \ufffc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s  in-depth discussions were enriched by the presence of Maryam Nina Hardy, President of the Oxford Africa Society for 2025 (https:\/\/uk.linkedin.com\/in\/maryam-nina-hardy-092b63117); Wantoe T. Wantoe (@WantoetW), Co-Convener of the Conference; and Clement Amponsah (snr_clement_), Program Coordinator. This engagement signifies the inception of a promising partnership, with both sides poised to announce significant developments in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
