The Vice President was accompanied by officials from the Sierra Leone High Commission in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Collins welcomed the Vice President and his delegation, commending Sierra Leone\u2019s regional leadership and commitment to democratic governance. \u201cWe deeply value Sierra Leone as a key partner in West Africa and across the Commonwealth,\u201d he noted. \u201cThis is a moment for us to explore new areas of collaboration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice President Jalloh expressed appreciation for the UK\u2019s longstanding support, particularly through the FCDO and British International Investment (BII). He briefed Lord Collins on recent progress under His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio\u2019s \u201cFive Game Changers\u201d agenda\u2014focusing on human capital development, food security, youth employment, technology, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe UK has been an important partner in Sierra Leone\u2019s development journey,\u201d said Vice President Jalloh. \u201cWe believe the time is right to expand our collaboration\u2014particularly in areas like investment, justice sector reform, and capacity building.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On immigration, the Vice President offered insights into the socio-economic drivers of migration and proposed constructive, joint approaches. \u201cWe must work together to address not just the symptoms, but the root causes of irregular migration,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trade and investment also featured prominently in the dialogue. The Vice President cited his recent engagement with the CEO of BII, noting ongoing discussions about expanding UK private sector investment in Sierra Leone\u2019s energy, infrastructure, and finance domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also reaffirmed Sierra Leone\u2019s interest in attracting responsible and impactful UK investors. \u201cThere is enormous potential for UK companies in Sierra Leone\u2019s emerging markets,\u201d Dr. Jalloh stated. \u201cWe welcome partners willing to invest in long-term, inclusive growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice President was accompanied by H.E.
