Members of the UK-based international organisation, INGO 3rd Sector Resource (INGO TSR), today (June 2nd 2026) paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, Sierra Leone\u2019s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, at the Sierra Leone High Commission in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also present at the meeting were the Deputy High Commissioner, Mrs. Yvonne King Odigboh, and the Head of Chancery, Mrs. Juliana Sia Hawa Fallah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visiting delegation was led by the Chairman of INGO 3rd Sector Resource, Ambassador Uzo Owunne, and included Khadija K. Ahmed, Lead for Sierra Leone House, and Nnamdi Chukwuka MBPS, Senior Consultant Cultural Strategist, Africa Pavilion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2002, INGO TSR is an international third sector organisation dedicated to promoting Pan-African cooperation, sustainable development, cultural exchange, and economic diplomacy. The organisation is currently spearheading the Africa Town Pavilion initiative for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, aimed at creating a unified African platform to showcase the continent\u2019s investment opportunities, tourism, culture, innovation, and trade potential before a global audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, discussions centred on Sierra Leone\u2019s prospective participation in the Africa  Pavilion and the establishment of a proposed \u201cSierra Leone House\u201d as part of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games activities. The initiative is designed to provide participating African nations with enhanced visibility, stronger investment engagement opportunities, and a platform for cultural and diplomatic promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation highlighted the strategic importance of the Africa Pavilion concept, which seeks to bring African countries together under one continental hub to maximise global exposure while reducing operational costs for participating nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit also explored avenues for strengthening cooperation between Sierra Leone and international partners in the areas of tourism promotion, investment attraction, cultural diplomacy, and economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
