The African Foundation for Development (*AFFORD* https:\/\/afford-uk.org\/) working with (*INVEST SALONE* https:\/\/investsalone.com\/) is undertaking a short engagement with UK-based Sierra Leonean diaspora entrepreneurs and investors to better understand their current *activities* and the *practical issues* that may be slowing them from moving forward or scaling up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These could include access to information, business connections, suppliers, markets, finance, investment opportunities, investment readiness, regulation and coordination, as well as other practical challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exercise is not simply about identifying challenges. Participants will also have an opportunity, where relevant, to take part in targeted co-creation discussions to explore practical solutions and support that could help address some of these barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 have capital or access to capital and are interested in credible opportunities to invest in Sierra Leone; or<\/p>\n\n\n\n
