Sierra Leone’s Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Mrs. Yvonne King Odigboh, attended ANNIEGRAMMS 2026, a joint event organized by the Annie Walsh Memorial School (AWMS) Old Girls’ Association (UK) and the Sierra Leone Grammar School Old Boys’ Association (UK).
Held on 3 July 2026 at the Oasis Banqueting Suite, London, the event brought together alumni, friends, and supporters of both schools for an evening of reunion, entertainment, and celebration.
Mrs. King Odigboh joined members of the two alumni associations and other guests, reaffirming the Sierra Leone High Commission’s support for diaspora initiatives that promote unity, education, and community engagement.
With its “Vintage Retro” theme, the event featured music by DJs Gravy and Abba and was hosted by Mr. Rowland and Mrs. Julee Awoonor-Gordon.
ANNIEGRAMMS 2026 once again highlighted the strong bonds among alumni of Annie Walsh Memorial School and Sierra Leone Grammar School, while celebrating their shared heritage and continued contribution to the Sierra Leonean community in the United Kingdom.
