
His Excellency Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United Kingdom and accredited countries, today Sunday 8th March 2026 attended the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) at Lancaster House in London.
The meeting brought together ministers and representatives from across the Commonwealth of Nations to reflect on the organisation’s achievements and shared history, while exploring current institutional, regional, and global challenges.

This year’s CFAMM focuses on *unlocking opportunities together for shared prosperity*, highlighting the Commonwealth’s role in a fast‑changing international landscape. The gathering provides a platform for dialogue, strategic engagement, and the search for practical solutions to strengthen partnerships among member states.
In his intervention, High Commissioner Manyeh stressed the need to work collaboratively to build consensus around mutual interests. He highlighted trade and partnerships based on goodwill and sincerity and noted the calls for appropriate reforms, necessary not only to stay ahead of global trends but also to ensure mutual prosperity. He further emphasized investment in peacebuilding, observing that sustainable peace is essential for achieving broader development and ensuring diplomatic progress.

Building on previous meetings, this year’s CFAMM continues the tradition of constructive diplomacy and collaboration, reinforcing member states’ commitment to sustainable development, peace, and shared prosperity. The meeting underscores the Commonwealth’s enduring role as a platform for promoting practical partnerships and advancing the common good across the globe.
