Amidst the outpouring of pain and grief, the Sierra Leone High Commission in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, heeding the call of HE President Julius Maada Bio, joins all Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone to mourn and pray for our loved ones who passed away in the disastrous Wellington fire tragedy of 05/11/2021.
The High Commission has opened a book of condolence in the chancery for diplomats and members of the UK community to sign and express their condolences to the bereaved families and to the nation.
In special consideration for those who may not be able to physically make it to the HIgh Commission premises on 41 Eagle Street, Holborn WC1R 4AT, there is provision on the blog page of the High Commission website for you to sign electronically.
We appreciate the commendable demonstration of unity and are heartened by all the gracious efforts being made, nationally and internationally, to support the injured and console the bereaved.
May the souls of the departed Rest in Perfect Peace!
