Ahead of today’s Trooping the Colour ceremony—a tradition dating back to the 17th century, marked annually with full military honours to celebrate the official birthday of the British Sovereign—HE Dr. Morie Manyeh joined a select group of invited dignitaries this morning for a special reception at 10 Downing Street.
Trooping the Colour is one of the most iconic events in the British royal calendar, featuring regiments of the Household Division, a royal procession, and an RAF flypast—symbolising the Sovereign’s role as Head of the Armed Forces and the unity of the United Kingdom.
