The High Commissioner, H.E. Dr. Morie Manyeh, and the Deputy High Commissioner, Mrs. Yvonne King Odigboh, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Celestine Odigboh, joined worshippers on Sunday, 20th July 2025, at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, for the farewell service of Rev. Lansford Penn-Timity.

The grand service featured powerful hymns, prayers, and heartfelt farewell messages from the London church community, family, friends, and well-wishers, all celebrating Rev. Penn-Timity’s exceptional leadership and years of dedicated ministry.

High Commissioner Dr. Manyeh commended Rev. Penn-Timity’s impact, saying: “Rev. Penn-Timity has been an inspiration not only to his congregation but to Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora. His devotion to service and his ability to bring people together reflect the values we hold dear as a nation.”

Echoing this sentiment, a church elder described him as “a devoted servant who has touched countless lives through his faith and humility.”

Rev. Penn-Timity will now take on his new role as Circuit Superintendent for Staines, marking another significant chapter in his ministry journey.
