His Excellency Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh and staff of the Sierra Leone High Commission in the United Kingdom this evening (Friday 5th June 2026) attended *the Sierra United Brass Band (UK)* Annual Fundraising Concert at St. Paul’s Church, Lorrimore Square, in South East London.
This vibrant annual community gathering brought together Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone from across the United Kingdom in a celebration of music, culture, unity, and community spirit. The event also served as an important platform for raising funds to support the activities and development of the Sierra United Brass Band (UK), which continues to play a significant role in promoting Sierra Leonean cultural heritage within the UK diaspora.

The occasion was expertly compered by Sierra Leone’s national music icon, Collins Pratt, BEM, OR (SL), whose engaging presence added to the success and allure of the event.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Lenard Momoh, who expressed appreciation to the performers, organisers, sponsors, guests, and supporters for their invaluable contributions to the success of the concert.
The event underscored the enduring commitment of the Sierra Leonean diaspora to preserving and promoting the nation’s rich cultural heritage, while fostering unity, solidarity, and community development among Sierra Leoneans living in the United Kingdom.
