The Sierra Leone High Commission (SLHC) was delighted to attend the KOSA UK/I Barbecue yesterday, 25 July 2026, at Burgess Park, South East London. The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with members of the Sierra Leonean diaspora, fostering meaningful networking, fellowship, and community spirit. Bringing together alumni, families, friends, and supporters, the barbecue was marked by a vibrant atmosphere of unity, celebration, and cultural pride. Guests enjoyed a variety of food, refreshments, and entertainment, while reconnecting with old acquaintances and forging new relationships. The High Commission commends KOSA UK/I for organising such a successful and well-attended event, that helps to strengthen bonds within the Sierra Leonean community and promote a shared sense of identity and togetherness.
