Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, His Excellency Alhaji Momodu Koroma, today paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, at the Sierra Leone High Commission in London.

The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and unity that underpins Sierra Leone’s diplomatic service. The two senior diplomats discussed issues of mutual interest, including strengthening cooperation among Sierra Leone’s diplomatic missions, advancing the country’s foreign policy objectives, and promoting trade, investment, and development opportunities.

Ambassador Koroma reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with fellow heads of mission to enhance Sierra Leone’s international profile and deepen bilateral and multilateral partnerships.

Welcoming his distinguished guest, High Commissioner Dr. Manyeh commended Ambassador Koroma’s remarkable record of public service, noting that his wealth of diplomatic experience includes serving as Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2002 to 2007, during a pivotal period of the country’s post-war recovery and international re-engagement. He expressed confidence that Ambassador Koroma’s extensive experience in diplomacy and governance would further strengthen Sierra Leone’s engagement with the Kingdom of Morocco and contribute significantly to advancing the country’s foreign policy objectives.

The courtesy call also provided an opportunity for both diplomats to exchange views on regional and global developments and to explore avenues for closer collaboration between Sierra Leone’s missions abroad in support of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio’s development priorities.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintaining close cooperation and promoting Sierra Leone’s interests through effective diplomacy, mutual support, and sustained engagement with international partners.
