The African Foundation for Development (*AFFORD* https://afford-uk.org/) working with (*INVEST SALONE* https://investsalone.com/) is undertaking a short engagement with UK-based Sierra Leonean diaspora entrepreneurs and investors to better understand their current *activities* and the *practical issues* that may be slowing them from moving forward or scaling up.
These could include access to information, business connections, suppliers, markets, finance, investment opportunities, investment readiness, regulation and coordination, as well as other practical challenges.
The exercise is not simply about identifying challenges. Participants will also have an opportunity, where relevant, to take part in targeted co-creation discussions to explore practical solutions and support that could help address some of these barriers.
The AFFORD would be pleased to hear from you if you:
• are currently operating or developing a business in Sierra Leone;
• have capital or access to capital and are interested in credible opportunities to invest in Sierra Leone; or
• know someone who falls into either of these categories.
